- Clay Jam, the classic claymation endless runner, may be set to return to mobile
- A new website has gone live, encouraging players to sign up for updates
- This could either mean the return of the classic or possibly a brand new spinoff
If there’s one thing we Brits enjoy, it’s mud building. Whether it’s Wallace and Gromit, Pingu or beyond, the humble animated clay figurine is a staple of UK television. And, as some of our longtime readers may remember, it was also the inspiration behind Clay Jam, one of the best and most original endless runners of the early days of mobile.
Clay Jam was a simple endless runner that saw you take the form of a rolling blue ball, crushing enemies as you run while avoiding larger opponents and obstacles along the way. It may seem strange now, but with its distinctive art style and simple but fun gameplay, we found it quite charming.
Now, Clay Jam is ready to make a surprise return to mobile! Or at least it feels that way, Because a new website has gone liveAllows users to sign up for news and updates about Clay Jam.

Right now, it’s unclear how Clay Jam will make its return, whether it’s a new sequel or a re-release of the original. But for longtime mobile fans, this will be exciting news that sees a fun cult classic returning.
Of course, Clay Jam will be doing so in a very different mobile arena, with the endless runner craze having died down years ago and only beginning to make a comeback. If it’s in its completely original state, I have no doubt that it would be a fun curiosity, but if Clay Jam is ready to come back with something bigger and new, it would be really exciting to see.
