After launching in September last year, MicroMacro: Downtown Detective has launched Expansion Pack 1. This is its first expansion pack for mobile players with a new batch of investigations on the busy streets of Crime City.
MicroMacro: What’s included in Downtown Detective Expansion Pack 1?
With Expansion Pack 1, the investigation continues into two new districts filled with quirky characters and disturbing secrets. 14 additional, challenging cases ranging from minor crimes to more disturbing crimes.
You may also need to join multiple threads together. Many solutions rely on small clues that are easy to miss at first. So, keep your eyes open and identify the culprit. Or at least crime!
The expansion was soft-launched late last year, but is now fully available. In addition to new puzzles, it also includes new gameplay features. For example, the team has added a new ‘Mark main game as solved’ option for players returning for the expansion.

MicroMacro: Downtown Detective is an adaptation of the iconic and award-winning board game series Micro Macro: Crime City. The mobile version features a new city map, its own set of unsolved cases, and innovative game mechanics.
A co-op hidden picture board game, its cartoonish presentation contrasts with the darker elements of its cases. But that’s what makes it unique and fun. Micromacro: The original version of Downtown Detective consists of 22 cases.
