Want to know who you should deploy to protect your foot fort? In our Fortress Saga tier list, we’ve ranked all the available heroes so you know clearly who should be out on the field and who you shouldn’t bother with (at all).
There are a lot of heroes in Fortress Saga. Many of them are good, but right from the start you don’t have access to all the best selections. So, as is the case most of the time, you will probably upgrade to some of the less-rare ones because you have no other option.
Even if that’s the case, the heroes that top this Fortress Saga tier list are the ones you should try to get and upgrade as soon as possible. Once you’ve found a few of those, the rest is history. That’s when the real game begins.
Since this game has been out in Japan for a while, this tier list is based on that, and I’ve adapted it for the global servers. I’ve also added explanations for some heroes below each tier, so if you’re curious why certain heroes rank the way they do, you’ll just have to keep reading.

Can you reroll in Fortress Saga?
Some people may think playing this game again isn’t worth your time. At the beginning, you don’t have access to all the heroes anyway, so re-rolling will erase all your progress, account and everything else, leaving you with no “good” heroes anyway. So, don’t worry about rerolling in Fortress Saga.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s dive into the actual tier list so you can clearly know which heroes to use on your team!
