James Gunn recently admitted that he wanted to add a Deadpool cameo in the season 2 finale of Peacemaker. Ryan Reynolds was obviously on board, but Gunn knew that getting permission from both Warner Bros. and Marvel/Disney would be too great a legal hurdle. Gunn has big plans for Peacemaker in addition to his HBO show, expanding the DCU with Supergirl, the Lantern series, and a Clayface movie next year. In other news, Warner Bros. has set a date for the Minecraft movie sequel. It is expected to arrive in July 2027 and director Jared Hayes is expected to return along with most of the cast. And finally, join the stars of the live-action How to Train Your Dragon as they explore the new Isle of Berk at Universal’s Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort.
