Nintendo has officially revealed that the Partner Direct is happening tomorrow

When is the next Nintendo Direct? These were the words on everyone’s lips as soon as the presentation they watched ended, and who can blame you? Nintendo Directs have been nothing short of a treat, showcasing what’s coming to the Switch, whether it’s first-party games like Mario and Zelda, huge third-party releases like Life is Strange and Resident Evil, or indie gems.

Many of the games that appeared in the Nintendo Direct find their way onto many of our lists, such as the best Switch RPGs. But that’s no surprise, especially when it comes to Nintendo’s first-party offerings, like Zelda games, Mario games, and Pokémon games. These days, any new entry to one of those iconic franchises receives a Nintendo Direct announcement.

When is the next Nintendo Direct?

The next Nintendo Direct will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 6:00 am PT / 9:00 am ET / 2:00 pm GMT.. Nintendo confirmed this showcase via the Nintendo Today app for Android and iPhone devices. This follows the company’s pattern of announcing presentations, usually at least one to two days in advance of livestreaming on YouTube.

Nintendo notes that this is a partner showcase, so you can expect projects from major third-party developers. At the previous Partner Showcase in July 2025, Nintendo gave us a look at Monster Hunter Stories 3, Star Wars Outlaws, and Final Fantasy Tactics. This time, it’s possible we might get a glimpse of the rumored Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Definitive Edition remaster.
