pokemon day is almost upon us, and with it comes a new pokemon presents Showcase to let us all know what’s going on in the exciting world of Pokémon. It’s a huge year for the franchise, as it turns 40 on February 27th, so I expect to see some very exciting announcements on Friday.
However, the thing I’m most looking forward to is the first appearance of Gen 10, with leaks and rumors floating around, as has been the case for a few years, about new Pokémon games. For me, there’s no better way to celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary than to look ahead to the next big installment, especially since Scarlet and Violet arrived three and a half years ago.
Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen coming to the Switch is also promising, and that’s actually another reason I think Generation Ten is likely to make an appearance, because it’s a pretty big deal to announce that GBA games are coming, so surely that means we have something even bigger on the horizon?
Chances are, we’ll also see things about other Pokemon games like Pokemon Go, Champions, and TCG Pockets.
