In today’s Daily Fix:
ShiftUp, the publisher and developer of the hit 2024 action game, Stellar Blade, has purchased Shinji Mikami’s Unbound Game Studio. Mikami is best known for directing the original Resident Evil and its remake, as well as producing several sequels, working on Dino Crisis and the Devil May Cry series. Unbound is currently working on a game that is “much bigger” and is confident that it will be a “masterpiece of gaming”. In other news, Crimson Desert launched two weeks ago to good reviews, but after several major updates, user reviews and sales have skyrocketed. The game has sold approximately 4 million copies since its launch. And finally, Jack Black has teased another Super Mario movie, with this third possibly coming in 2029.
