To kick off the reality show’s 50th season, Survivor 50, CBS and Zynga are bringing a new crossover. Survivor-themed content will be available across five Zynga Mobile titles simultaneously. This marks the first time in the franchise’s 25-year history that it is collaborating with Survivor.
What are the Zynga games where Survivor is passing 50?
The titles are Words with Friends, Zynga Poker, Two Dots, FarmVille 3 and Dragon City. Each title approaches the collaboration differently, as each of them has a completely different genre.
The Zynga x Survivor 50 crossover content will launch around the season premiere this month and continue throughout the season. Survivor 50 begins with a three-hour premiere on February 25, airing from 8 to 11 pm ET/PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
The new season brings back 24 returning cast members from the show’s history. Hosted by five-time Emmy winner Jeff Probst, Survivor with Zynga is an amazing collaboration I’ve never seen before.
Now, let’s talk about how each game is incorporating the content into its gameplay. Words with Friends introduces word-based challenges inspired by the show with themed puzzles based on the season premiere.
Zynga Poker builds its integration around competitive watch programs tied to weekly episodes. Here, your winnings contribute to a limited number of prizes. The poker title also includes a sweepstakes that offers a chance to win a trip for two to attend the live Survivor 50 Finale in Los Angeles.
Two Dots emphasizes survivor strategy with challenges and collectible rewards within its familiar connect-and-clear format. FarmVille 3 and Dragon City join forces in an end-of-season crossover with themed quests, daily bonuses, and season-long events.
