Activision’s former CEO claims it was his right to sell Microsoft – IGN Daily Fix

In today’s Daily Fix:

Former Activision CEO Bobby Kotick is responding to a lawsuit claiming that his decision to sell Activision to Microsoft a few years ago was the right one. The lawsuit claims that Kotick rushed the sale of Activision to keep his job and protect himself from claims that he knew about widespread reports of sexual harassment at the company. Kotick in turn is claiming that with Call of Duty’s sales performance declining year over year, it was the right move to sell to Activision at the time. In other news, Meta is shifting its gaming focus away from the Metaverse and is closing several VR studios and laying off hundreds. And finally, the PS Plus games for January have been announced.
