Mario fans may have noticed a cameo in the latest Super Mario Galaxy movie trailer that has yet to be revealed. One shot in the trailer shows a character off to the edge of the frame – barely in there, in fact – looking a bit like what Fox McCloud wears in the Star Fox games. Although it’s not confirmed, it would make a bit of sense, given that Mario and his friends will be going to space in the Super Mario Galaxy movie. In other film news, director Zack Krieger said he’s giving ‘carte blanche’ on his upcoming Resident Evil movie reboot. This basically means he can do whatever he wants, and it’s already been mentioned that we won’t be seeing any familiar characters in the games. Although the film will be one of its kind, it will be based on the lore of the games. And finally, the anticipated 2.5D cyberpunk pixel art action game REPLACED has been delayed once again, this time to address feedback following the game’s recent demo on Steam.
