What is a bramble?
Bramble is one of the major antagonists of The Outdoors. You will meet this terrible monster in the hedge maze, the last one is outdoors. This creature stalks the hedge maze, attacking anyone in the vicinity. This is something you’ll have to deal with if you want to escape the area.
It resembles a giant humanoid made mostly of thorny vines, with a lamp post on its head.
Bramble can shoot thorns from the ground beneath you that can do some damage, although its melee attack is an instakill.
How to deal with bramble
Bramble’s mechanics can be confusing as its behavior may seem erratic at first, but once you understand its basics, it becomes much easier to deal with.
Bramble is more or less a game of Red Light and Green Light. When its lights are off, you must move around and do your best to avoid the bramble. On the other hand, if you see the light come on, you should stop moving. Moving around will incur Bramble’s wrath. You can also hide, or move out of the way. The closet is still the best bet.
Your goal in the hedge maze is to escape, so it is advisable to avoid the brambles as much as possible. If you can get to the edge of the hedge maze, the Groundskeeper will come over and do the job for you, so it’s just a matter of staying out of the way long enough to progress.
