20th anniversary is 2026 Develop:Brighton, So we’re sure bigger, fun things are coming. From Indie Showcase to Star Awards, the schedule never disappoints.
If you’re involved in the gaming industry, whether it’s as an indie developer, PR, audio programmer – then Develop is an excellent program to look at. There are conferences focused on business, art, mobile, coding, and more, so no matter what you’re looking for, you can find something very informative and useful.
Submissions for this year’s Develop: Star Awards are open now, allowing you to nominate talent, studios and games to be in the running to win. Categories include Best Story, Best Audio, Tomorrow’s Star and a brand new ‘Best Ongoing Game’ option.
Submissions close on April 3, 2026 and Develop will reveal the shortlist on May 18. You can get all the information Here. The awards ceremony will take place at the Brighton Dome on 15 July.
