Okay, let’s get into the puzzle.
Where is the symbol puzzle?
You find the symbol puzzle down in the sewers, a stage you access by descending into a well from the basement area using a rope. After picking up the crowbar, gasmask and pistol you can enter the area, and meet its hostile inhabitants. At least now you can shoot them.
The symbol puzzle is found through a hole in the wall at the end of the metal catwalk section. Be careful, because an enemy may try to attack you immediately after you move forward.
Use a crowbar to open the locked door you find below, revealing a console with four buttons, each marked with a strange symbol along with a level.
How to solve symbol puzzle
Solving the puzzle is actually easier than the previous two. Go down the stairs next to the door and you’ll see some mannequins pointing to a room. Look inside and you’ll see some symbols written on the wall that match the buttons. Make notes or try to remember the order.
Go back to the puzzle room, and press the buttons in the order they appear written on the wall. Once you do this, pull the lever next to the buttons. If you’ve done this correctly, you should hear the pull outside slide down, allowing you to keep pushing deeper into the sewer.
