Gunnar Davis Glasses Review – “Professional in wood grain look”

  • They look like real wood!
  • Reduces eye strain during gaming.
  • Inspired by Tech Hub.

Gunnar is known for his stylish and well-made gaming glasses, and he’s back with another pair! Gunnar Davis glasses inspired by the California tech hub feature in his Trace collection. These frames are round, look very modern, but at the same time, their lenses have the ability to protect from eye strain.

These glasses come in a sleek black case with metal detailing on the front and bottom or in maple with a similar metallic effect. The maple color almost resembles the grain of the wood, with plenty of detail within the glass. I love the different colors and shades – the wood effect looks sophisticated, which brings a new height to this type of glasses.

The lenses are where the improvements come with gaming. Gunnar has two different lenses: clear and amber. Clear lenses are fantastic for people who need to see pure color when using their screened devices, as they don’t have as much color on them, but they still block a significant amount of blue light. For those who spend extended periods of time looking at screens, the amber tint lens is optimal, as it blocks a lot of light, but has an orange-y tint. This is our favorite color when it comes to Gunnar.

Gunnar Davis glasses come with a thick, very durable case that is slightly rectangular, as well as a protective pouch and microfiber cloth. All their glasses come with a 12-month warranty in case anything should happen to them. They’re made from very high-quality materials, so we didn’t have any issues, and they also have a smudge-resistant coating on the lenses.

These glasses feel like they would look great in the office or out and about, without being overly gaming-feeling or the like.
