What we do know is that the Stardew Valley 1.7 update is coming, and it brings two new marriage candidates. We’re hoping for romance with the Wizard, Sandy, Gunther, Marlon, or maybe Marnie – although Robin would be preferred. Who knows, maybe it will be someone completely new that we haven’t seen before.
The mysterious museum curator and man in the mine could do with some more material, especially Gunther, since we only see him behind the counter. With such a great hat, he deserves more screen time.
The video’s description also mentions that ConcernedApps will “cross some older builds of the game [with] Commentary, briefly go over several updates, [and] Give a special message to the players.
After the 1.6 update added new festivals, NPC dialogue, a farm type, skill mastery, and the entirety of Ginger Island, we have high hopes for 1.7 — but even if it’s just a few changes and two eligible bachelors or bachelorettes, we’ll definitely be excited.
