Fans of casual games – we have some special good news for you. A Storied Life: Tabitha Coming to Nintendo Switch! There’s nothing more relaxing than lying on the couch or in bed playing a cute game on the Switch, and this game will definitely scratch that itch.
Coming from publisher Secret Mode and developer Lab42 Games, A Storied Life will launch on Switch and PC on April 14th. At Pocket Tactics, we’re big fans of puzzle games like Unpacking and A Little to the Left (also by Secret Mode), so when we saw A Storied Life, it went on our wishlist.
A Historic Life: Tabitha is all about organizing, but with an emotional reason. You set out on a journey to sort through the belongings of one of your loved ones, Tabitha, who unfortunately recently passed away. It’s up to you what to keep and why, although you’re limited to a single box to pack key items in each room.
This is where the organizational skills we’ve learned in similar casual games come in handy. Move things around, tuck them into corners, and use things like tape, vacuum packs, and bubble wrap to keep things secure. Just make sure to check every cupboard, so nothing gets missed. The items you place will reveal things about Tabitha and her past.
It will definitely be a hit not only for us as seasoned casual enjoyers, but also for anyone who is a fan of compelling narratives, events, and games with such an enjoyable art style.
