Nintendo Responds to Dispatches Censorship Controversy – IGN Daily Fix

In today’s Daily Fix:

Nintendo has responded to the censorship controversy surrounding the Switch port of Adhoc’s Dispatch. The Switch version has its nudity and sexual content censored, while the PS5 and Steam versions allow you to turn off the censorship. According to Nintendo, while all games on Nintendo platforms are required to meet certain guidelines, they do not instruct developers as to how changes need to be made. In other news, Mandy Patinkin has been cast as Odin in Amazon’s God of War series. Patinkin is probably best known as Inigo Montoya in the ’80s classic, The Princess Bride, but he’s also done acclaimed work on shows like Homeland and Criminal Minds. And finally, the long-in-development Beyond Good & Evil 2 is apparently still in the works at Ubisoft, despite the company’s recent layoffs and restructuring.
