Choosing which path to go down is a difficult choice in every game. So we’ve tried to make it easy here with our Overmortal tier list.
Overmortal doesn’t try to overpower you in the beginning. You log in as someone with weak stats and basic skills, and the whole point is to slowly build your way out of that. Most of the time, you are farming, gathering resources, and waiting for the next breakthrough.
However, if you want to play it as a F2P player, you will need our Overmortal tier list. This is the only way you can find a solid path to the end game.

Because Overmortal is a game where progression happens quietly in the background, you won’t notice much right away. Therefore, our article should give you a clear idea of which route is best.
Choosing the Right Path in Overmortal
The first real decision that matters is choosing between corporia and magicka. Corpora rely on physical strength and close combat, while magicka is built around spells and ranged damage. That choice stays with you, especially when you start investing in skills and pets. If you spread resources too thin, you will feel it. Overmortal rewards patience and focus more than flashy moves, which is why planning your upgrades really makes a difference.
What keeps people playing is not just the combat, but the constant climbing. Pets add extra damage and utility, relics increase your stats, and cults open up more content and rewards. The strength increase is gradual but noticeable. You start out delicate, then after a few weeks, you’re clearing out the stuff that used to destroy you. The slow transformation from a weak cultivator to a much stronger player is really the main appeal of the game.
