PUBG Mobile joins Esports Nations Cup 2026 as its 16th competitive title

The eSports World Cup Foundation has confirmed PUBG Mobile as the 16th title to be featured at the inaugural eSports Nations Cup 2026.

The competition is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from November 2 to 29 later this year. The PUBG Mobile competition will run from November 3 to 8, culminating in a 16-team grand final.

A total of 32 national teams will compete, starting with a round robin group stage consisting of four groups of eight. The top four teams from each group will advance to the finals, where they will compete in up to 18 matches under the Smash Rules point system.

Half the places will be filled by direct invitation. Twelve teams will qualify through the PUBG Mobile National Team Rankings based on their performance at the 2025 World Cup and Global Championships, as well as the 2026 Global Open.

Additionally, four additional teams will receive special invitations, while the remaining 16 teams will qualify through regional tournaments and two wildcard spots, with the qualifiers scheduled for July 10 to 12, 2026.

PUBG Mobile was previously showcased at the 2025 Esports World Cup, where Myanmar’s Yangon Galacticos claimed victory after an early exit from defending champions Alpha7 Esports. A $75 million price pool for this year’s eSports World Cup has been revealed.
